Geek.

It's limited by my motherboard... I could go a bit faster on the FSB but I'd lose in overall speed =p.

Game runs absolutely fucking amazing on my computer, I can't believe how great the game looks. Holy god it makes me want to pee my pants though. I haven't gotten this feeling since I was a kid playing Silent Hill :)

Tons of fun so far...

I have gotten myself in trouble a couple of times having to save with very low health and had to restart the level but overall, so far I think it's too easy. I remember having to save every 10 seconds in the original games but I can go quite some time between deaths on this one... maybe it gets much harder later on.

I consider under 18 to be a kid, since you are stated as a minor. I'm 19 now and the game came out at least 5 and 1/2 years ago..hence when I was a kid playing it.

I'm actually not having a tough time at all. Even on high setting, there's a lot of health and armor.

I do get annoyed at having to do 360s at every corner. The wall monster thing is getting kinda old.

Where are ya? I have to save more often now, as there are some areas that just drown you in monsters.

Game's pretty long, and damn good.

I'm up to the part in Alpha labs where these little spiders are coming out of nowhere and they just drain my ammo. It's really fun so far. I'm on veteran mode. I suppose you have to complete it like that before they give you nightmare.

Yeah, have to beat veteran for nightmare.

I love the game but there is a HUGE gap where they could have made this game "cream my pants" good.

As it stands it's only "shit my pants" good.

Mods of course will change this, or at least I hope so. This engine has a lot of flexibility.

Okay, just hit Delta Labs tonight and the difficulty went up tenfold. LOTS of more excitement, and the arrival of another Doom favorite mob!

I got on average 2.7 fps running the time demo.

I run on average 370 fps running Quake 3 crusher timedemo.

I'm glad I didn't fucking pay for Doom 3.

The game is fun, and worth the 45 bucks, I think. I've already gotten a good 20 hours of playtime, and the atmosphere and graphics are worth it.

Its not revolutionary, but I look forward to seeing MMOs that look nearly as good as Doom3.

Its not worth the 45 dollars if you cannot play it, which I am guessing the vast majority of the people are in a similar boat.

Time to stop spending so much money on dope and pick up a machine that runs faster than 16MHZ. ;)

Come on Adam, dump the 386 and move up to a pentium.

It was definitely worth the money, my heart is pounding. I just got out of hell and am running around delta labs blowing shit up with the soul cube.

I played a little multiplayer, but it wasn't anything too special. Hopefully there will be some nice mods available soon.
