Gaming Keyboard/Gamepad

Ive been looking all over for one of t hese things just out of curiousity and i cant seem to figure out what they are or what they do. I see them in lots of ss's of people that play lots of chars and once and noone seems to know what they are. Has anyone seen one or know where to pick one up at?

Fenarin's setup always made me cry in multiple ways.

Edit: I've seen a review for that item, but I have to look for it. I'll try and remember later.
