I was smart enough to get out of Sanct before then and go to Euphoria with the rest.

Shadowspear could beat Jangos while typing out an essay at 100wpm. Jangos was a piece of shit compared to SS. If neither of them ever hit the enter key in game they'd be a hell of a lot better.

So who here knows about the whole Garolick controversy that happened a little while after this?

i forgot. All this shit seems like another life now i don't remember much exept fun parts. I still remember all the fun that me, Lyion and Hazakiah had in early days of DAOC tho

Hope you are well. Time flies.

It is a bank holiday weekend here and with a little free time in hand I found this thread. As luck would have it, I kept a small archive of my favourite bits from way back when. I'll dish up a couple today.

Whilst Hammerkeg was a strong contender, he got beaten out of the medals by our old friend, Ixnay! (in the words of his guildmates). I think this was on the way to the Best Dressed Cleric Contest or something like that.

Second, a great snippet from Tigole that I put together back when VP was real estate as hot as the Hollywood Hills. I don't think this one has ever seen the light of day before. Tig was without exception the best guild leader and most patient guy I've ever 'worked for' so, if you are trying to find a context for this picture, imagine seeing Michael Johnson suddenly leap into the crowd and punch out a spectator - When Tigole Attacks.

(I know keeping an archive of entertaining rants makes me a bad person, but who was it that said 'God make me good, but not yet.' ?)

Damn I miss ole Tigole. I remember the first weeks of Euphoria, after raids, I'd meet him, and a couple of others in Rivervale, to do the PoD deathmarch. Corpses everywhere.

Taxx, who were you playing during the first days of Euphoria? I was in with Lyion/Kyo, Haz, Dall, and some of the others in the first days into the first year while playing Kalec, but my memory of the members at that time is hazy.

I was playing Briss at the time. Uggmo Vonkaar and myself grouped pretty much every single night in HS and they were talking about making Euphoria so I said I'd join.

Yes I was there for the first Gorenaire kill and yes I remember the bark potions.
