did you DL x-com from underdogs? just run the alternate exe, xcom1fix.exe or somethin like that, it's mod'd to run in XP already

It runs at 10X speed, I used to have ME and be able to run it in DOS. With XP pro I dont have that ability. Dosbox doesnt seem to want to cooperate.

dosbox tends to be an annoying bastard to get working, my advice is just to DL them from underdogs, they come ready-made to run under XP
