Warrior epic?

But they suck, and have since velius.

The only reason someone would wield their warrior epic is to entitle them to make cheesy star wars comments and emotes.

I can attest to this. When Riddek pops in the epix, the taunt is ON omg.

Unfortunately, he completely drops off the DPS charts. :p

Yes, actually it was worthless when it was released. Do you remember the very long posts to Verant those years ago? Do you remember this? No, obviously not. When the Warrior Epic was released it was all about dam/del ratios and a better sword dropped in OS off of the FROGS (not Trakanon or the Emperor) that had a better damage to delay ratio, with a proc that was superior to the Warrior epic. Do you remember Absor saying it was appropiate that a drop could/should have a better ratio than the EPIC weapons? Warriors whined bitched and complained for months that the ultimate weapon for warriors was second best to a drop in OS. Verant didnt back down from their position... however, they did nerf the blade of the green dragon in OS and wound up putting the original unnerfed blade of the green dragon in Veeshan's Peak as a no drop weapon.

So, yes, the Warrior Epic was worthless, and So, since you dont know your history you look like the retard.

Well.. I'm very anti-sbod. If you're playing a warrior, I think you'd rather ditch 30 hp for better aggro. Hell, Copper hammer with anger 3 would be better for aggro than the Splitblade, it's comparable dps with the proc it already has on it. 2 procs is > aggro than one.

So no, it wouldn't suck, but it wouldn't be wise really. But I'm sure a 14/19 with anger 3 would hold aggro fine.

Just think it'd be easier(and better actually) to get the more attainable weapon that would actually be higher aggro/usefulness to a warrior than the splitblade (discounting a few ac/hp like I mentioned above).

As for the Ultangel bashing, you have to make sure it was her who was playing, since several people log her on when she isn't available.

I wouldn't call her a master at EQ, but she certainly has been around long enough to generate a tad bit more respect =p

Noone said it was "worthless" man. I just think it's a waste of LDoN points for hate augment on a weapon like that. I would have sold that weapon for mucho PP and got a better "aggro" weapon.

Depends on the level at which you play. At my level: its worthless, at yours I suppose it wouldnt be.

Of course, every single higher end weapon after Kunark beats it... So... its even more worthless now than it was when it was made. Since dam/delay is the most important aspect of a weapon, unless its proc outweighs the dps that is produced from that weapon, however, this is rare. The only real examples are:

OT Hammer: Proc Overthere (Really crappy dam/delay, great escape tool)
Anklesmasher: 10/20 (actually, not too shabby for a 1hb) Proc: Snare
Earthshaker 34/70 effect: earthquake (AE anyone?)
Truncheon of Doom from OS (Effect Tepid Deeds, got that one and you can solo as a warrior, slow so powa, thanx Gnil for correction)
Etc...

But these are few and far in between. These days, if a warrior is using his epic, he is not drawing aggro enough nor is he doing enough DPS to warrant play-time in a group. My 65 warrior has his epic and he has it bagged and he never uses it unless it is to show off. Last time he used it was against Nagafen when he won that CoF from Jazendar (ok, Jaz's raid wiped a few times (IE 3X in 7 hours) and the people there were cheering us on and he had no force in which to take it) which was more than a year ago or so.

So, to sum up:

Warrior epic: Eye Candy only. Go buy a copper hammer of striking and a sword of the bloodsword, these two are far greater for dps and aggro then the warrior epic ever will be or can be. So, in a nutshell: Its worthless.

the best buyable warrior agro weapon combo is probably blade of carnage/sceptre of destruction

unfortunately nameless got raped for SoD's with CT and remedy leaving with most of them and the rest in the hands of LOS
