So... I'm 15.5 now... been doing a lot of those quests in the grassy plains from hell... it's great fun.

Where should I go from here on out? I'm going to keep following the quests as they come... solo and groups are fun... but, should I have a plan? I haven't seen the troll or tauren cities yet so... I'm sure there are lots of quests to be found there. What shall I do?

Stick with Barrens till lvl 18 or so then hit stonetalon as the quests come to you.

Tauren city is Thunder Bluff, there aren't that many quests there but making the trip and getting the flight path might not be a bad idea. Just go south from XR to Camp Taurujo(sp?) and then take a right into mulgore. TB is in the northern part of Mulgore.

Until you get to the 20s I would stick with Barrens / Stonetalon but I could be wrong.

So... just kill shit?

The raptor-head, zebra-hoof, strider-beak quests were great xp. Do quests like that continue through the whole game? Or... does it eventually switch to a, get a group together and bring me the head of Colonel Montoya type quest?

All the elite quests that take you into Wailing Caverns are 'Bring me the head of Colonel Montoya' quests.

They are much harder and require a group. Most long quests in the barrens will lead to Wailing Caverns.

Just a reminder not to forget the Centaur Quests from the dude in the little bunker to the west of XR.

Just so you know the alliance lands and quests completely fucking own the Horde ones as of right now.

Beta2 also is loaded with people levelling, and not a plethora of mid to high level bnet folk.

20+ soloing vastly slows down, so you'll want to group to get really good exp. Also, look to complete quests with several others.

What's wrong with having high-level people?

I like playing horde right now because it gives me the chance to find more bugs and justify my acceptance as a beta-tester.

Nothing, but my personal preference is to play on a 'fresh' server, versus one that has a ton of twinks and spoon fed people. Its also easier to get groups and find others to play with.

I have a level 38 and a level 25 on Horde, and I found very few bugs.

My level 20 on alliance has already submitted twice as many. Of course there are a lot of new things in.

You're just wrong because you aren't me. One day you might be as sexy, though. I recommend plastic surgery!

Alliance sucks plain and simple. It's already been shown that the no-talent whiners go straight to alliance...Anytime alliance faces up with horde they get their asses handed to them on the pvp server. Alliance is for the spoon fed people. If you say there aren't many bugs on the Horde side (especially in quests) then either your don't pay attention or you're full of shit.

Now to answer Vonk's question. Soloing or duoing is best. Grouping for the most part is shitty xp. To get the highest level the fastest you want to kill mobs 3-4 levels below you as quickly as possible. It's just not worth it to kill even mobs because of the downtime. Quests are the way to go. Just wait till you get to level 30 and look how quickly you will level in Shimmering Flats. Anyways as far as quests go, it seems the higher you get the more often you get elite (group) quests. You still get plenty of quests you can solo but you have many more elite quests with good loot. My quest log right now is probably 75% elite quests.
