Has anyone played this yet? Is the game any better or just the graphics?

i have the cracked version so i cant build my own god damned house and it really pisses me off. but otherwise its just alot more in depth than the original. more control, more physical options including aging, job paths and different happiness bars etc. etc. its fun, EXCEPT THAT I CANT BUILD MY OWN GOD DAMNED FUCKING HOUSE.

Just like Darc says basicly, I've found it to be easier than the orginal, however that only applies when you just have the one sim. I have a house full of 5 atm one of wich is a teenager (goddamned teenagers) and I've noticed the dificulty going up a bit.
