I had to beat it on my PC with ePSX because my PSX wouldnt play the 4th disc either.

I was suprised the other day in my search for Lani I found some graphics of random FF9 objects that looked really sweet untill they were crunched onto a CD format and had theyre quality screwed. Oh, and some neat shots like;
