Red Blade - 100 DD Proc with AC Debuff & 500 hate
Blue Blade - AC/Dex & 40 Atk (Huge btw)

How can these blades be consider'd bad? Just because the dmg isn't up to par with Luclin / NToV upgrade items? For any warrior with common sense and the pride to go finish that stupid quest, I say go for it. All those blades are utilitarian in nature, and the blue blade still rocks to this day. 40 atk is huge, thats Vengence VIII. If your not time/ele/VT geared, that is huge.

Sorry, I disagree, the ratios on the epic suck, but their utilitarian uses still own.

Red Blade is not too far from Enraging Blow... Throw an Anger III on it and it makes a great aggro weapon.

Though the quest does suck majorly...

I did my epic when I already had a Willsapper and something comparable in my offhand, just to do it and finally finish the quest. Not many warriors actually do their epic now-a-days, I did it just to say that I did.

using SpikeDriver + Redblade currently

red's stats are very nice... 50hp +15sta nothing to scoff at. Fantastic off-hand weapon, and the added effect of not looking like every other warrior-tank twink with a bloodsworn + copper hammer.

Weapons don't necessarily make the warrior, and I never regret doing my epic ... evan though it was a serious p.i.t.a.
