Is it just the AI? I heard the AI sucks, but the whole thing that bad?

Its like this. The first time you play, you get owned on easy in about 15 seconds every round. Then you play for 15 minutes, learn the game, move to hard and beat it in an hour or two, trying every race, rebellion, empire, trade federation and what ever the last one was, flying ships sucks, except ATs STs for the Empire. There is no change from the first round to the last, yippee fucking skippee, I however can score more head shot kills than Darth Vader or Luke Skywalkker score kills when they join the battle.

I was excited until i played it.

this had so much potential too.

God damnit. So disappointed in Star Wars lately.

Yup, it sucks. There is no challenge to it, and they did a crappy job of trying to copy BF1942's system. I'm glad I trusted my insticts to download this and buy Rome Total War (mmm good).

played it over at a friends today, it's something i could probably get a few hours of fun out of.

my friend really nailed it when describing it as battlefield '42 played at a quake pace

50 bucks down the tubes..funny how good reviews can look..then you play it and yay..its boring plain and simple

id rather play quake 2 on gamespy
