Forced servers

Have you guys looked into how this will effect the NT guild when WoW goes live?
Inside each person lives two wolves. One is loyal, kind, respectful, humble and open to the mystery of life. The other is greedy, jealous, hateful, afraid and blind to the wonders of life. They are in battle for your spirit. The one who wins is the one you feed.

It won't. All it will affect is out of country players. They're just going to give you default time zone servers and from there you can pick which time zone you want. I don't think Euro's for instance can pick Eastern Time Zone servers.

I must have misunderstood then. I read it as you were forced onto your local timezone server.

Importing the game from the United States will not grant access to the North American servers. You will need a valid North American billing method in order to play in that region. We recommend, however, that you play on the servers in your region.

I cannot say when the planned solution for those who want to connect cross-regionally will occur; I have only been told it will be after European release.

I agree except WoW doesn't have anything like that, that people from another time zone can be given advantages for.

I hope they change the time system in game, either speed it up for a full cycle to be every 12 or 8 hours or something. I really liked playing the other morning and watching the dawn in game(didn't compare the dawn that I experienced though, how I long for a new digital camera).
