They'll wipe closed beta for the open beta, I'd wager.

The question is how long will open beta be.. My guess is they are shooting for mid Nov to compete with EQ2.

I think they will keep beta 1 and 2 and close the servers to no new characters. That would be my guess. THey are going to have to open at least 20 more servers when they open it up.

Maybe, but I'd be really surprised.

There goal is to simulate release with Open beta, and you can't do that and support a continued closed beta population simultaneously.

Remember this statement when the open beta starts.

They will not wipe closed beta character.

2 level 60 dungeons are coming up very soon. If players have less than a month to test these there won't hardly be anyone up there by that time.

Yes there will be some hardcore people who get there but 99% of the players won't get 60 that fast.

You could be right, Taxx, but I think they'll wipe.

Although they might do what DAOC did and keep a 'test' server and not ever wipe the Beta characters...

They should name a server "Noog", after my troll priest because I contributed so much to the beta test.
