Well, less lengthy post here than in the guild forum, but it's time to say my goodbyes to EQ. Been a long run, since december 99, but I just don't have the energy or interest in the game any more to play as an active member of a raiding guild. Since that's the only part of the game that held any interest for me, there's not much point in playing period.

Not going to list off any names, those of you who were my friends know who you are, and those that weren't, well, why would I list them anyway. Gonna miss a lot of you, others I won't miss, but is definitely hard to leave the game after this long.

No doubt I'll still continue to be a board lurker, has to be at least one raving liberal to generate frothing outrage from the far rightists that seem to abound in CA, after all. heh

Anyway, thanks for the good times, folks. Farewell.

I remember being in Kael tunnels once. There was another monk and some healer with him there while he pulled. I hung out and was amazed with his gear and skills. Moreso with the fact that he took the time to be cool and let me goof around with them a bit. That was you Arlos, take care.

We had a few good times Arlos, at least I did. You're a great player, and more generous than most. This man used a Res stick charge on a ghetto 1 cleric hedge maze group while trying to get me elemental flagged. Not many would be so kind.

I'm sure The Nameless will miss you Arlos.

There will never be another like you; skill, loot, fun, and the ability to understand what this is... a game. You were one of the best guys in the game, and I hope things in real life show you the respect you showed others in this game.
