These fucking tools need to stop selling beta accounts...

Because this is essentially what theyre doing by giving Fileplanet beta accounts, they know people will sign up just for it and then cancel subscription...

Why? They get cash, and use zero bandwidth, and get people who want to beta.

It seems a wise business venture to me. Also, the kiddies rarely pay for accounts, so you end up with the more serious gamer.

I get your point, Fin, but I think its good business, personally.

*shrug* Im a firm believer that beta's shouldnt be "bought", always have been.

But I can definitely see why they would do something like this. Better yet is if they were to give out free beta accounts through fileplanet MEMBERS but, have significantly more for subscribers.

I have kept a Fileplanet account and use the SHIT out of it. I bet I download from there at least 2-3 times a week. No wait and wide open bandwith keep me subscribing. Let alone the beta's =)

BTW Taxx, I downloaded Matrix too. Looks pretty cool, but got very boring very fast. It's faaaaaaaaaar from being anywhere finished.
