This is seriously fucked up for europeans, aussies, etc.

I am sure a lot of them are aiming to play with guilds from previous games etc, which were very likely a mixed guild. (nationalities)

Now if Blizzard continues with their current plan, theyre pissing off HUGE fucking demographics.

We're discussing this on my guild's boards for WoW, and we have a handful of Europeans that have been with us in BoD for years...and they might not be able to play with us because of this BS.

Anyone agree with their regional servers idea? or disagree as do a lot of prospective buyers?

I can definitely see the benefits to regional servers.

-Pings (theyre in your area)
-Customer Support in your language
-Other players in your timezone on that server
-Game content in your language

But the downsides of international guilds already formed are pretty huge also...

I don't see it as a big problem. It will piss people off but the good out ways the bad. As long as they don't split North America into East and West I'm all cool.

Same. And if PVP and timezones are taken into account, this will prevent 'Remedy-itis'.

I have a feeling they will make the U.S. East/West

Would make sense if they're doing this already.

They already said there was going to be East/West Servers but anyone in NA can pick which one they want.

There are servers located in EACH of the time zones.

There are like 2030235098230580 threads about this on the beta forums and the basic consensus is "who cares".
