Check the shots out in this thread. I just cant fathom how people talk about how bad EQ2's graphics are. Sure there are things that dont look as good as others, but to say this game looks bad is ridiculous.

Thats really nice looking. I have some screenshots at 2 FPS at high resolution that just blow almost anything away.

Toss, you playing EQ2? Get Windows Media Edition so you can game from your recliner, and play some EQ2, mon!

I plan on playing a bit, yeah. I know of about a dozen RL friends that are playing too. Should be fun.

Let me do some research on Media edition. That might be the ticket. I always played EQ on my TV back in the day but it was much less demanding than EQ2... not sure I can still pull it off and be able to read the text etc.

You can actually raise the text in EQ2 to obscene sizes in their options menu. That shouldn't be an issue.

My new PC has a TV out, and I have a wireless keyboard & mouse. I've actually been playing it in my living room, and its getting tough to go back to my office. The only problem is I like to surf on my second PC in my office and keep IM and notes on it. I guess I could setup my laptop, though.

Yeah, once you game in the living room, it's tough to go back to the office. I wish my TV had a DVI input on it...

Sounds like a good excuse to buy a new widescreen TV to me.

I just got one but no DVI... the folks I bought the house from left theirs there.

Can use a different connector, just won't be able to do > 30 FPS, which won't be a problem with EQ2.
