its simple... playability, variety, no damn zoning times except instances where it still takes 1/4 of time it takes to zone in eq2. No extensive cr which wastes my playtime. Trades windows that are well organized and designed. Quest Windows which lay it out nicely .... when you want it. you dont have to see it at top of screen all the time.

Wow is massive zone wise, lots of variety for each level... I prefer graphics.. it runs smoother, to me looks better (yes i have eq2 beta i've seen them both) seeing only nice water and characters in eq2 doesnt make it a better game graphic wise. and Content will always win me over.

A game where people actually listen to suggestions etc...(not wait till people have left in mass ... hi sony inviting top guild members for a powwow).

EQ2 is buggy graphically still... and eq2 is less than 2 weeks from release.

The customization when making my eq2 character ended up making her look like she had raccoon eyes, since the smoothness of blending the face wasnt evident when i made her. makes her look goofy.

most of this and other stuff have been posted in other threads just have to read them.

I do know where most of old hardcore players will be.

It's just a style thing

very diff't games graphically speaking, and very diff't emphasis

WoW is pretty dumbed down in a lot of ways, a much easier game to be proficient at

that being said, it also alleviates a lot of the stuff that frustrated people, so in general people have more fun with it

I've been playing EQ2 since...i dunno, april? and WoW since late march or early april

EQ2 suited my playstyles better, but 99% of my friends will be playing WoW, so I'll be heading to WoW as well
