Indy's defense is bad

Post by Lyion »

Just... horrid.

They tackle bad. They lose in the trenches.

They are lucky the Vikes don't have Moss.

Why is it these Gurus, like Billick, a supposed O genius in Baltimore, and Dungy, a D coordinator can coach teams for years that are so inept at their old coordinator jobs?

Peyton is fuckin the team over with that HUGE contract... plus the rest of the O james and harrison.

Dungy is a good Defensive coach and good coach he just didn't have shit there.

But your right, indy couldn't even stop the 9ers power house Offense *sigh*

Indy's defense is bad? What about Minnesota's? They're ranked 8,471st in pass defense, that's including college and highschool teams. Down to division 3. And they tackle like wet nurses.

What happened to Corey Chavous and his 9 interceptions last year?

Hovan is the most over rated piece of shit in the league.

Udeze isn't living up to his draft pick.

It's just freaking horrid to watch.

They had a chance at the end there, when they rushed Manning hard on the outside and he gave that little left handed flip to Edge. 3 missed tackles because of over pursuit and using a clip block as tackling form. Ridiculous.

I've seen Minnesota's D play decently this year. They have gaps where they over pursue, but they are ok in tackling. Not a great D, but not as horrid as Indys, IMO.

I don't buy Peytons contract as the issue. Moss has an 8 year 75 Million contract. That's not exactly chump change, and he's a WR! Ty Law makes close to 10 mil this season, and look at NE's D. Manning has a 1 Mil base salary with a cap number of about 8.3 Mil this year. He will earn less than Ty Law and many others.

Indy actually did quite well defensively in the first half against Minnesota last night (yes Moss wasn't there, but still, they are a good offense).
