Does this mean the Warlock holds everyone's soulstones with their soul inside them until they die? I guess we'll have to find out.
Soulstones have been changed to now resurrect the soulstone holder automatically 5 seconds after death.
You probably already figured that out though...
Here's how new soulstones work: It's now a buff, with a 30 minute duration and a 30 minute recycle time on casting. Warlock casts it on 1 person in the party, and if that person dies while the soulstone buff is on them, they can rez themselves. (not sure of how long you can wait, etc.)
So, basically, you will definitely want to use it on the priest, paladin or maybe shaman. (not sure how shaman rez works) Druids do get a rez now, but recycle timer is 30 minutes, so not exactly too viable for CRing. More like "Wow, druid managed to live somehow, so he rezzes the priest", or probably more likely, "OK druid, you're not too useful overall, but you DO have a rez, so you sit out he fight, so if we wipe you don't die, and you can toss the priest a rez box."
If you want a REAL laugh, look at druid bear form tanking now. We're supposed to be 3rd best tank behind warriors and paladins, and actually are supposed to get taunt and aoe taunt abilities. But guess what the armor change did, it broke 'em, bad. They were already nowhere near real tanks (I was 2k hp and 2k armor less than an equivalently geared warrior), but now it's just laughable. My unbuffed armor in bear form is 2433. Now, my gear doesn't suck, last I looked, I was in 8th place alliance side for +armor from gear among all druids. Now, I'm at 2433 armor in bear form, guess how much armor an equivalently geared paladin or warrior at L59-60 has? 6800. Yes, that's right, I have over FOUR THOUSAND less armor than a real tank. Hell, I barely beat a hunter 4 levels lower than me in armor, and his gear is nowhere near mine.
No group in their right mind will now EVER use a bear form druid for a tank on any elite mob. (and non-elites, anyone can tank) Not that they would've before, either, but now it's particularly funny. Even if I went heavy into the feral spec talent line, and got the armor increaser talent (which would mean I couldn't get the good healing talents), that's still only a 10% increase, 2676 vs 2433 is a negligable difference compared to 6800. Hell, with the armor changes, there are now shields that BY THEMSELVES have nearly as much armor as I do in bear form. I hope the paladin changes are good, and they have some aggro control now, cause unless druid gets some lovin, no way in hell am I playing one.
