It used to be a big problem for me, but after I played for awhile the "cartoony" look isnt so bad...it's not a big deal at all really.

I think the newer graphics in Eq1 (SoL models) were pretty much terribly done . I only used Dark elf female models and gnome female models so i could use my horse and use my horse in gnome model on raids (cheaper then shrinking $) But then again that's me. I didn't like the gay legged male elves models or the i'm a football linebacker all of a sudden human and iksar males. And the noses on the elf females needed plastic surgery more then Ashlee Simpson. Sometimes playing on lesser then full graphics is appealing to some. (and i have a dual process 2.83 ghz p4 HT).

Yes. And it wont look too bad either...dont expect to be able to put the settings VERY high, but you will get a nice balance of nice looking and speed.

Installed EQ 2 last night but didn't get a chance to play at all - gf called me to tell me she got tickets for a comedy show. It was a good show, but I was exhausted and just wanted to play a LITTLE BIT of eq2. Hopefully I can at least log in for a few minutes tonight before she gets out of class.
