Well Day one went perfect for EQ2

Yesterday I had a total of 1 disconnection that turned out to be on my side, and one time where my quest journal wasn't updating so i relogged.

All in all an awesome first day. Lets see how day 2 goes when the stores that were holding EQ2 back till after Halo 2 fan night was over. [/code]

100k Pre orders for 12 servers seems close to max capacity to me.

I'm actually worried about overcrowding. Still, it was a nice launch. At least SOE is wise enough not to use Bit Torrent.

Souds like a massive failure.

Oh, I think they have a total of 20 regular servers ready for launch, 1 french, one german, and then 2 weirdly named ones that will become test 1 and test 2.

Any crashes today?

I played about 2 hours and the only problem I had was the fact that my group was stupid.

Lol Aryylas was playing on one of the beta servers for WoW and it was lagging like fuck.

click a vendor and it would open the menu in about 5 minutes...

NEVER had that problem on EQ2...

Either way I will be playing WoW first.

Poor Aryylas he and I basically have the same computer setup, seeing as we built them both. Last night WoW was lagging like hell for him and I was perfectly fine... was odd.

Todays hotfix notes.

We brought the English-language servers down early this morning for the following update:

- Fixed Shadowknight's Graven Embrace
- Increased rewards given to wholesale social structure tasks
- Added appropriate prices to alchemy items that were priced incorrectly
- Adjusted Journeyman's Boots so that they are harder to misplace
- Fixed a quest in Qeynos East
- Multiple fixes for increased server stability
- Added additional support for French Canadian keyboards
- Fixed /petition so it brings up the knowledge base as intended

This update should be going to the French and German-language servers later today.

Well, I thought the EQ2 servers just crashed, but it is something more. ALl of SOE is down. EQlive, PS, EQ2, SWG, etc.

Their servers are absolutely crushed.

I'm curious how many copies they sold. They had a lot more people than projected.

See porn has it's uses. It's good for taking up the time spent waiting for EQ to be back up.
