the shit. I am digging this game so far. Still in the underground railroad getting my ass tore up atm.

Kinda surprised by the beginning. Would of thought of something more "original", but I guess it follows the HL story!

I bought mine through Steam a couple of months back for the SOURCE Counter Strike. At midnight last night, as window popped up and validated and I was up and running in 2-3 minutes.

Ciladen, try backing out of Steam and coming back in. If it sits idle for awhile, it will stop sending signals for the validation code.

I bought mine months and months ago as well. I authenticated this morning before I went to work and had it running 2 minutes later.

I just got off the hovercraft part in the game, played for like 3 hours straight.

7 hours later, steam is finally letting me in. I played Half Life: Opposition Force for the first time to tide me over.

PS: It kind of sucks.

HL2 is everything I hoped it would be. I'm very satisfied, especially since I got my copy free.

I thought Opposing Force was great. I hate killing aliens all the time. I'd rather kill humans. Blue Shift was short as hell though, kinda sucked.

Yup for those things and the headcrab zombie dudes the crowbar is your best bet. It will save you alot of ammo.

Just finished it, btw three words: Improved Gravity Gun. This thing is so fun.

Ending was a bit of a surprise to me actually, just sort of showed up. Anyone else have thoughts on the ending?

Ya I just finished it, and I have a thought on the ending.

It fucking sucked. I've never had a case of blue balls this bad with a video game before.

It was fine and good that they did that G-Man bullshit in the first one, but to do it a second time fucking irks me. It makes me wonder if I have to wait another 5 years for HL3 only to have that same G-Man shit happen yet again at the end.
