So do you spray Obsession in people's faces to keep them away from you?

Cuz that would work just as well as the mace does, you know...

It's going to lead to the same result as every other discussion.

I am not talking about social programs, etc I am talking about basic constitutional rights that should be respected for all citizens AND equal rights for ALL citizens as well.

Ginz - I'm secure enough in my masculinity to say that I'm glad you feel that way - as long as you feel that way across the room from me.

Tossica - you didn't ask about Constitutional Rights. You asked about Society. If you want to discuss whether or not I feel that the laws on the books are "right", "just", and "appropriate"... that's a different conversation all together.

Ugzugz, I asked a serious question and you gave me a lame argumentative bit of conservative-hallmark rhetoric. We were all keeping within a particular context and you altered it. Answer the question just as I did. I didn't respond by saying, "conservatives believe in what they can't see and liberals see what the conservatives refuse to believe." I mean, maybe that's true but it hardly applies to the discussion.

You asked me for a single sentence to describe how I think "liberals" feel.

I did so.

How did that change the argument? Just because I didn't say something all "in the face" like you did about Conservatives thinking you're going to hell??

I'm sorry - if you were looking for a fight, you looked in the wrong place. If you were wanting to discuss/debate something, I'm all for it.

Sweet dreams are made of this
Who am I to disagree?
I travel the world
And the seven seas--
Everybody's looking for something.
Some of them want to use you
Some of them want to get used by you
Some of them want to abuse you
Some of them want to be abused.
Sweet dreams are made of this
Who am I to disagree?
I travel the world
And the seven seas--
Everybody's looking for something.
Hold your head up--Keep your head up--Movin' on
Hold your head up --movin' on
Keep your head up --movin' on
Etc.
Sweet dreams are made of this
Who am I to disagree?
I travel the world
And the seven seas--
Everybody's looking for something.

How come it's alright for you to do these things, but it's not alright for someone to be homosexual?

Because the Lord strictly forbids it in the Bible, not just once or twice, but several times. Since it is mentioned so many times, it must be pretty important, no?

jesus never mentioned homosexuality ;)

Yeah well buddy, ya know, there's that whole commandment thing about taking the lord's name in vain..........what ya got to say about that.......

I can see it now. Mindia passes 2 lesbians on the street and starts screaming at the top of his lungs "You God**** sinners are going to hell!" I'm sure that would go over quite nicely.

Yes, you admit it, now realizer it is wrong and change it. Yes you can have your sins forgiven by one prayer, but God doesn't like it when you keep doing the same thing over and over and over, and expect him to forgive you each time. It does not work like that. If you truly want to be more like God and study him, and worship him, then you have to strive to follow his commandments and lead by example.

We all here (well, at least I) see you as a hypocrite who left the board once, came back was cool for a few days, and is now telling everyone that their religion is wrong and he is a better man and a Christian. Yet he continues to use swear words and thinks, I'll just pray and ask for forgiveness. Thats a hypocrite.
