Why I'm conservative

ah. i just remembered we had this same semantics argument once before. as i recall, it was a fruitless effort.
don't take this as a flame-- but i can't help but wonder if it isn't a waste of time for you to come here again, mindia, for several reasons. if you've come to save people, you need to realize that the chances for you to find someone here who might be open to joining you in your beliefs is pretty slim. secondly, from an impartial perspective, so far you've done nothing but portray yourself-- and your beliefs, by association-- as hateful, intolerant, and judgmental. even if there were people here that could potentially choose to subscribe to your beliefs, you seem to have pissed any credibility you might have had right down your pants leg. i will admit, this is partially due to the nature of the regulars here who love a good flamefest, but it's a two-way street: YOU let your temper get the better of you. YOU chose every word you've said in this and other threads. i think all you've done since you've come back is scare away potential believers as well as cemented others' beliefs that most christians are judgmental and closed-minded. i think you need to step back and seriously consider the chances of you actually doing some good here (pretty slim, i'd say) versus the chances of you losing control of your temper and bristling with hateful arrogance (pretty good, i'd say).
if you decide to stick around, you need to take a serious look about how you are presenting yourself. i hate to bust out tired old adages, but it really is easier to catch flies with honey than vinegar.

Yes you can have your sins forgiven by one prayer, but God doesn't like it when you keep doing the same thing over and over and over, and expect him to forgive you each time. It does not work like that. If you truly want to be more like God and study him, and worship him, then you have to strive to follow his commandments and lead by example.
We all here (well, at least I) see you as a hypocrite who left the board once, came back was cool for a few days, and is now telling everyone that their religion is wrong and he is a better man and a Christian. Yet he continues to use swear words and thinks, I'll just pray and ask for forgiveness. Thats a hypocrite.
Um, quote me some examples where I am telling everyone that their religion is wrong? Show me examples of why you think I'm a hypocrite.

I appreciate your sentiment in this regard Alex. I'm not trying to convert anybody. I came back because of the elections and how happy I was about the outcome, and to get in some good flamewars with some morons on this board.
I am a Christian, but I don't put up with bullshit. I will not allow somebody get the best of me with lies, bullshit, and slander. I do not "turn the other cheek" as I should, as you've noticed.
Frankly, I'm having fun with some morons on the board, especially today, although a couple did get under my skin. I also don't care what people think of me here. I'm not here to make friends with people here. We don't have anything in common, and most of you disgust me. (Really). And I love the flaming back and forth. Take a lot of boredom out of my day.

Ganzo and I believe in the same God. He just doesn't believe in the Holy Trinity. He believes in the Father part, and that is enough for me.
If you looked at it like 3 threads intertwined, forming a rope, then you have the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, forming our Lord.

The word "god" is man's representation of a concept... a belief.
The use of the word "god" in a pejorative, is against the letter of the law, however, it doesn't violate the commandment's intention which is to prevent the misuse of the "power" of God's name. For example, think of it as impersonating a police officer... if you walk into a costume party dressed as a faux cop, you won't be arrested. If you put on the same costume and try to pull people over or harrass them as if you actually carried real credentials, then you can be in serious trouble.
It's the same thing with this commandment. I, personally, don't believe God gives much consideration to my use of a three letter word "god" in any fashion other than when I am invoking it in such a fashion as to really mean "GOD".
Catch the drift?
Regardless... you guys nit-picking for language is really fucking lame. Especially since you've been going at it for like 5 pages now. If that's all you have against Mindia, then you're looking pretty fucking stupid right now. Don't get me wrong, I think Mindia is a little "nutty" myself - but if you're going to ridicule a person for this duration, try to at least pick something that's WORTH 5 pages...

That's ok, I lost a lot of respect for you over a year ago on your old board, when somebody said they were going to assassinate Bush. I told them that I cut & pasted what they said and sent it to the secret service website secret witness program. I didn't really do that, but I just said I did.
You did nothing saying how wrong it was for that person to say that, yet you told me that you were going to ban me from the board if I really did do that, and if you got an email from the Secret Service. That is sick man. That told me right there what you were all about and where your values were. You showed your true colors.

Saying you're going to assassinate the president is quite different my dear. I'm sorry you can't differentiate between the two.

See, here is the thing. I don't LIKE flaming most people. I actually like Mindia, I always have. He has changed, yes, but I still like him. I like you too Ugzugz. I just don't agree with him. I am letting him know how I don't agree with him.

well you see the difference is that i had no reason to believe that the person who said that would actually do it, while i could perfectly imagine you doing what you said you were going to do
