I played it pretty extensively in beta, and my opinion is identical to yours, Mo.
The game is really a dungeon crawl, with no other content, period. In beta it capped at level 10, which was fairly easy to get, with no endgame, really.
The only other thing that irritates me is a complete lack of solo ability at all. There is literally zero to do solo.
