Just curious, how many of you have quit? And why?

That was the point Ugz...it's too easy....
Inside each person lives two wolves. One is loyal, kind, respectful, humble and open to the mystery of life. The other is greedy, jealous, hateful, afraid and blind to the wonders of life. They are in battle for your spirit. The one who wins is the one you feed.

I would likely enjoy it as much as the rest of the game. Good for the first few runs of it and then it would turn into me wanting to avoid it like the plague.
As I said I will give it likely one more try on another character to see if it gets any more exciting.
How do you like this spoiler, motherfucker? -Lyion
When did ANYONE, ANYWHERE get the idea that levelling in WoW was going to be a challenge? Everyone knew EXACTLY what they were getting into when they bought the game. The challenge in the game was never levelling up, the challenge is the encounters and in pvp. Do these as they were intended to do, then you have a right to talk shit (and yes, I've done them):
5 man LBRS
5 man Uldaman
5 man Scholomance
5 man Stratholme
5 man BRD
10 man UBRS
Kill 1 mob in MC
The problem is that these no-talent fucktards do instances when they're 5 levels above the intended level then whine about the game being easy. No shit sherlock, Befallen in EQ wasn't hard at level 50 either!
We cleared RFK at level 27, and it was one of the most fun times I've had in the game. I have a feeling half the fags here didn't even step foot in there till their mid 30's.

Well, I have canceled for now. Been playing since beta, and I have to say, the easiness in lvl'ing is just an open door for the poor players. I have never seen so many ignorant, non-skilled people in one game....EVER. I really do hate this fact. I found WoW to be a great game, and while the challenging instances are few when you look at the entire game, I had fun for the most part.
In the end I am sticking with EQ2. The community is a LOT stronger, with many old school MMO'ers who know how to play a decent game. I enjoy the lore, and even though the game is slower, it gives more feeling of accomplishment in-game when I lvl up and adventure new zones. BUT THIS IS JUST MY OPINION~
I think that both games are very good and exactly what this genre of gaming needed. A good booster if you will. I just hope for Blizzard's sake, they pick up the pace, and starts addressing content/battlegrounds faster, or there will be more jumping ship to EQ2, and other MMO's.

What exact 'skills' and 'talents' do these instances take to clear? Please extrapolate. What uber strat do you use to differentiate yourself from the other 50000 level 60 rogues out there fighting?
WOW seems to be heavily equipment and class driven to me. The better your gear and the better balanced your group, the easier things will be. Where it differentiates from EQ, is the design is allows that you can still level and be productive even if you aren't in that perfect group. This also trivializes the game, and simplifies it.
Honestly, I haven't encountered many piss poor players on Whisperwind. Most know their roles, assist, and DPS classes DPS. Like I've said before, the problem I have is the PVE design document is very close to EQ. It's nice they've added a PVP system almost identical to Mythics Dark Age of Camelot, and they've been wise enough to take the top 2 US Fantasy MMOs and take the best from both. At the end of the day though the game is still what it is. People will be farming equipment, just like EQ. Then people will farm Realm Points, just like DAOC. Thats the design. Thats also the problem.
Your solution to people who find WOW boring is to try to do things differently to make the game more difficult. The problem isn't WOW, the problem is WOW is not an at all original game and many are realizing this and despite the fact the game is fun, it still has the same caste system and gerbil on a wheel philosophy that is prevalent in so many of these games.
WOW may be the best game on the market. Its a lot of fun, and I have no doubt Blizzard will upgrade and improve their product. What it isn't is at all original. Its Worlds of Everquest and Camelot.

No, really I don't care. I'm just saying the people crying are most likely the ones who did Scarlet Monastery at level 40 then say WAH IT'S TOO EASY! They ARE doing some things to combat this with the next patch having group limits in instances (bravo!) no more no-talent zerg-fests.
As far as equipment goes, I could do my job the same way with 2 vendor bought daggers and fighting naked. I might lose 30 dps but I could still do my job. Equipment is a big factor to Warriors, and thats about it.
Like you said, they weren't out to reinvent the wheel. They took the most fun ideas and put it into one package, is that such a bad thing? Half the problem is the rushed production. They could have easily used another 6 months of work (battlegrounds, realm points, mounts, hero classes, siege weapons, raid instances, high level instances).

So you claim to have defeated the Cathedral with people no higher than 36? Where I see that as a slim possibility, it's highly unlikely. You wouldn't have the DPS or mana pools to kill the two bosses at the same time without people getting clipped. Your DPS would be dramatically impacted by fighting reds as well as the increased damage received from the level difference as well as limited gear choices. I'm not saying you need to be 40 to do it, but you damn sure didn't do it with a group of 30-36 - unless ALL of you were 36 and pulled it out on a lucky streak. If the end script were a single 42 elite, sure... but not 2 of them. Sorry - but you're full of shit again.
