Looks the same as Metroid Prime 1.

I guess that's a good thing.

I always liked the feel of Metroid being kind of sacred in a way...

It wasn't made to be a multiplayer because it didn't NEED to be multiplayer. It was strong enough in it's own suit to go without it. There are a ton of games that have multiplayer in them.

Surely I haven't played Prime 2's multiplayer, but the idea of it kind of cheapens the franchise for me.

I just hope the single player has as much focus and ingeniuty as the first Prime did. If it has that with the added bonus of multiplayer, then that's cool. However I don't want to see single player gameplay sacrificed for yet another multi-shooter.

If I wanted to play that I'd load up Goldeneye and rock on.
