I was able to build 2 completely working laptops out of the remnants of 40 old "broken" ones, but now I need a HDD (or 2 maybe)
basically, standard laptop drive, 2.5" size, 9.5mm thick(or less I guess) and anything larger than 5gb would be slick
I checked ebay, but fuckers want like $35+ shipping for the things

One of my favorite sites, although I did a quick check and didn't find anything 9.5mm under 20gig for 45$... that is however shipping included. Basically it searches many e-vendors, some stuff is oem ect, really need to be careful that you know what you are getting, but I don't think that will be an issue for you Tikker.
