Legalized forced castration?

Some guy in Geauga COunty here in Ohio is trying to propose a bill that forces men to get castrated or get a vasectomy when they father children who end up living off of welfare.

Something about not being able to have children unless you can support them and are married.

I can understand this as applied to sex offenders, but the proposed reason in this case is kind of off the wall.

Won't happen...there was a huge stink a few years ago because some judge ruled that a woman who'd had her kids taken away multiple times only make more babies have the Norplant birth control put in.

Didn't they used to secretly do this to Native American women? Like right after they had a child when they had access to all the right parts they would make it so she couldn't have anymore children?

Here's an idea.... STOP GIVING TONS OF WELFARE MONEY TO PEOPLE WHO HAVE KIDS JUST TO GET A BIGGER CHECK. Stop doing that and I'll bet you money they'll stop having so many kids.
