Ok so my Hubby Finnyan and I are reading the Hall of Shame and there is BoD as usual. Funny thing is, we were in BoD for a few years, got along with everyone and had a lot of fun, then finny says to me its like we thought everything was fine and then find out that we are vampires or something lol. I think we were the only ones oblivious to the fact that everyone hated us. Other than the fact that we had 42 alts standing around on RZ raids, I liked BoD. hhhmmm Are we too nice or just plain out of it?

Expecting some great replies, dont let me down. :dunno:

Not everyone from BoD was idiots, and not everyone that hated them came out and said it to their faces, so yeah its very possible you just missed it.

I was in BoD for a while. People hated BoD not because of people like you or me (well maybe me) but because of Xarton and his mecha army. There'd be rushes and arguements about mobs, not to mention BoD's extremely high turnover which lead to people joining other guilds and saying stuff. I think at one point a good 25% of CT was ex BoD, not to mention a good chunk of Euphoria and a few LoS even.

He botted like 6 toons and gave them loot over real members. He contested spawns with other guilds and the argued over them in a bitch like fashion. He used a zerg tactic to overcome the content which lead to inability of containing the retarded amount of guild members whom were let in simply because they were of the right level and asked to be let in, which lead to people retaliating against other guilds with the BoD name, posting stupid shit on NT, getting in flame wars with other people in other guilds etc etc etc. The guild was awesome when Borael was leading raids and Vorpledge was leader and Borael was leading raids and we had low attendance with quality membership.

Then again, I can't really complain a whole loot about the loot thing considering I got a 10th ring from em and was much better geared than Xarton. Thanks btw.

Yep, I had to restart my account but I'm back up at 63 now. Activate your acc tomarrow sir, i'll be looking for you. There's more people that you know that still play than you'd think. Atleast that's what i've found out since i've joined back up. I'm having a blast.

I have to laugh at this post tho... I've been back to playing about 2 months now, and came here this morning to make a post about rebuilding BoD... and see this first thing....lol some things never change.

So ya, BoD is back, Cennyan is GL(Amedao is permanently retired) if your interested come and play, not sure what direction were going to go in until we get a few more active players.... BTW Yushu is back too but dunno if hes registered here.

I remember doing King Tormax with <Regret> and B.O.D. pulling all the drakkel dire wolves to us, so I brought Vindi to King Tormax when they tried to ninja.

Most people in BoD were cool as hell, but like Ero said, there were a few fucktards. Every guild has them. It's the way the ball bounces.

I think I was there for that. We ended up getting it I think (we had prolly 40-50 peeps LoS had like 2 groups) and Xarton wouldn't shut up about how we "beat LoS to a mob". I was like...dude, they had 2 groups at best with no healers and they were probably deciding what would be more important, killing Rumblecrush for his incredibly awesome loot that is better than everything in VT, or fingering their own assholes.
