Last week our lil man arrived! It was much easier then we thought and 5 hours from water breaking to delivery, 30 mins. only of pushing Anyhow, here's a few pics of him from the day we left the hospital. All is going well so far and he's a eatting / pooping machine! hehe. We've said that these pics make him look like Kenny from South Park's long lost cousin or something except his hood needs to be red!

If you click through the pictures really fast it looks like he's saying "nope" and doing something with his hands like a "Nuh uh girlfriend, you did not just go dere!"
Awwww!!!!! He's so beautiful Sav! Congratulations to you and Patrick hon, and welcome to parenthood from both me and Jjiaah.
We also just welcomed our new son to the world on March 13th - I keep meaning to post up the pic, but have been so tired ><.
Note to Harri and Adi: It has nothing to do with how big or small a woman is (/smack Harrison - way to scare her you big ox). If the hips are shaped right, labor goes much more quickly. My friend Kos is little itty bitty skinny (I don't think she cracks 100lbs and is only 5'1" or so), but she has a perfect hourglass figure with very round hips. Her very first pregnancy ended in a total of 20 minutes of labor and 10 minutes of pushing.
Harri - with my size I doubt I will be able to deliver naturally >< I have been told by docs and other women my size that it is pretty much sure I will need to have a c-section...I guess I don't have "breeder's hips" :P

Do kegel exercises and delivery is a breeze. All of mine took a max of 4 pushes before they were born.
Speaking of 'birthing hips' a friend of mine is half Hindu half German and maybe weighs 95lbs soaking wet. She's got an extremely thin build (she didn't inherit anything from her German side) but kept going on and on about having birthing hips and how easy delivery was going to be for her until I asked where she kept those hips, in the closet? She wound up having two c-sections.
Inside each person lives two wolves. One is loyal, kind, respectful, humble and open to the mystery of life. The other is greedy, jealous, hateful, afraid and blind to the wonders of life. They are in battle for your spirit. The one who wins is the one you feed.

You won't have a problem feeding that's for sure.
I almost fell out of my chair. At least I will be good at something. Just think they get bigger when you are preggers and nursing... woooo woooo!
And trust me, I am not gonna be quick to throw in the towel, invasive surgery is not my cup of tea.

You better be posting pictures when you get to that point.
