Vitamins

Post by Ginzburgh »

I just read an article about how research is starting to show that vitamins are actually worthless or bad for you in some cases.

What say you!

PS: In case you ask, I can't link the article, it was a new york times write up that my boss copied and gave to me. The name of the article is "The Case Against Vitamins".

I think I heard about this on sirius, didn't it have something to do with affecting the ability to fight cancer?

I am biased.. I have no choice and have to take vitamins for the rest of my life since I rearranged my digestive system. For the general public *IF* they eat healthy then vitamins are not a necessity. Problem is most people do not meet the nutritional levels they need with just food so a multivitamin a day is a good thing for most. I take multi, B12, C, calcium, and iron pills. B12 sublinq once a week and the rest twice a day.

Yeah, I think I might try eating more fruit and vegitables.

Multi-vitamins cost $$ anyway.
