I can't find an option to restrict how much upload bandwidth cuteFTP consumes

Need more infoz to help. You can generally throttle applications via the PC, router, or Windows if the app can't do it readily.

i did read the manual =\

it doesn't mention anything at all about limiting bandwidth, which leads me to suspect the free home version can't do it
