I havn't logged on in almost 2 weeks.
Guess it's just the repetition that gets me, and knowing that soloing will only get worse.
Also, I (still) don't feel like grinding out lvl 15 just so I can start getting missions again. Rat bastard contacts are all holding out on me until I level, which is lame, because I prefer to do my leveling in door missions.

I'd get a group, but I've never had a group that was better than soloing in door missions. Plus, I don't need the kind of frustration that comes from grouping with complete retards, which seems to be all there is to choose from.
I don't need no instructions to know how to ROCK!

There arn't enough distinguishing charectoristics from one zone to the other, 90% of the game looks like a city (obvious). The instanced missions are mostly the same. The absense of gear, loot and tradeskills got to me.

Mostly, I just like the mid-evil type environment. Elves, humans, dwarves, halflings etc. I wanted to get to level 40 based solely on the priciple that I'd get my money's worth, but I didn't even make it to level 20 before the game got too boring to endure. That and most of my RL friends dropped it.

If it was a totally fantastic game, I would be willing to sacrifice some of my summer time to play, but the fact of the matter is, its not, so I'm off to the waterpark.

The game is easy to get into and feel powerful.

That's its best trait, and also the reason why it seems to be losing people.

I had great fun for 4 weeks, but I grew bored of the same thing over and over.

For me it goes back to that 'dynamic' thing. COH, despite having a lot of cool features is yet another MMORPG SIngle Player World with 2000+ people fighting respawns.

I reinstalled it. Haven't resubscribed yet, since summer is keeping me away from my pooter.

Contrary to many, I think SWG is the best game on the market. Graphics and Engine blow everything away. The game structure is fun, and Player run cities and the UO like exp system is the best out there. The big reason I left is while the games base fucking owned, the lack of content and depth hurt. That appears to have changed

SWG has a lot of issues, though, and hopefully those have been resolved. When I quit the game still felt like a beta product.

I don't think it sucks, its just not a game that caters to some people. It is not a deep game. You get on, you beat some ass, you log off.

The only real problem I have is that both the chars I leveled up were nerfed to hell. The first one needed nerfing badly (Rad defender) the second one was out of the blue and still confuses the hell out of everyone (stone tankers).

I can see it getting boring, but I'm only playing it for a few hours every other day and I really enjoy it.

I kind of like it. It isn't a game that will suck your life away like Evercrack. I can play for a couple of hours every so often without getting hooked. I guess the reason some people are getting board with it is the reason I like it... It's non-addictive.
"Liberals believe government should take people's earnings to give to poor people. Conservatives disagree. They think government should confiscate people's earnings and give them to farmers and insolvent banks. The compelling issue to both conservatives and liberals is not whether it is legitimate for government to confiscate one's property to give to another, the debate is over the disposition of the pillage."

I agree its a fun game. But to me is it worth paying for, if I only want to play a few hours a week?

And to progress you still have to play an assload, so it isnt that far from the Time sinks of other games. It just has none of the stringent grouping requirements
