Okay, some ranger trains in PC while trying to get to his camp, and I'm PLing my friend around the same area as the ranger, its no easy place to get to for a level 19 like his ranger was and people were bitching that he kept training mobs when he screwed up getting to the camp, Ranger is Evileyz, some ub0r guy starts shit with me soon after, please mothers, never let your children become this, here goes:

There are those, yes, that have absolutely no real life, and have probably not been laid ever, or in a very very long time. It is these retards that seek self-validation in EQ.

You're better than are in real life... EQ is the one place they get to be "better than you are." It's very ccc to run into fools like that.

Hey Slobber, cool to see you're still around. Another old school player.

Those with no life are generally bad EQ players.

Those who play 24x7 tend to get fixated and make poor guildmembers, often they waste an assload of time, and are loot obsessed.

The trick is organization and making the most of ones playtime, not in sheer amount of time.

The people playing as part of a team, and for raids/guilds will be there through the dry times. Those playing full time for themselves are not reliable and generally mostly give a shit about their character.

The best players in EQ or any MMO are the ones who do have a life, but play hardcore, too.

In EQ the early people making 50 fast played overtime to level, and then most got into a part time routine, playing here and there, mostly raiding.

My early Hibernia group in DAOC all made 50 first in our realm in Percival, and prior to the other realms. When I was logging in, we had groups and stuff pre planned. I was the first of my class to max level and I wasn't playing more than 4-5 hours during the weeknights, and I was still going out Saturday nights with friends.
