I got a 360
I only got gears of war at the moment. Not sure what I want to get next. Any recommendations? Would really like to play an RPG!

The demo was boring IMO.
Rainbow Six Vegas is awesome.
Do not buy it.
I bought it... thinking it would have multiplayer like Dynasty Warriors did and I did not do any research in the matter. I was wrong. Very wrong.
Dead Rising if you enjoy killing zombies every once in a while.
I've heard good things about Saint's Row, but honestly have not a clue about the game itself.
That is about it.

I own about 13 360 games. None of them suck except for Far Cry and Quake IV which was disappointing because I loved the PC versions of both. They just didn't translate well to the 360. Far Cry controls are really sloppy, ruining the game and the load times on Quake IV made it almost unplayable for me. Most of the other games are good and a few are excellent.
The 360 right now is pretty much all about the multiplayer games and media center aspect. Many of the single player campaigns are lacking but the co-op and head to head multiplayer aspect has never been better on a console. Xbox Live fucking owns and I don't mind a bit paying $4 a month for the service. The ease of joining multiplayer games, the variety of content both in the Live Arcade, movies and TV shows in HD!!!, demos, extra content, etc are all very well presented and IMO not unreasonably priced.
Games I am really looking forward to:
Battlestations: Midway
Blue Dragon
Mass Effect
Halo 3
Assassin's Creed
and like 10 others.
The best thing to do is download the demos for all the games you are interested in and try them out.
I seriously lack the time to give my 360 all the attention it deserves but I think MS has released a pretty amazing console and am very happy with my purchases.

I rented Saints Row to try it out... I'll probably end up buying it. I never played any of the grand theft series, but was told that it was basically an improved version of the series. There is a lot to do and it's very open ended. There is some really hillarious stuff in the game.
