You know my stance on guns. I am now even afraid to go outside for a smoke. sucks. alright I'm doing it. I have a knife in my pocket. but this guy is shooting people. He kicked in someone's door and shot a guy. It was an intruder so this seems bad.

If everyone knows there is a killer out and about, you're probably safe b/c the guy will be in hiding. Be careful though, but I agree that you shouldn't be too concerned.

Pretend you're talking on the phone, or actually call someone to talk on the phone. I can't imagine he would attack you if there's a chance you could communicate it to someone.

This sounds like bad thinking to me. You wont be lookin around all vigilent like if your on the phone and an attacker can easily break a phone knock it out of your hand close it etc. :dunno:
