He was blind for years. Why not simply listen to a tape recorder or something similar instead of the TV? Would have saved him a ton on electricity.... rather off point ;p

I used to wonder if the people who'd I see "AFK" for what seemed like days at a time in EQ1 were actually dat (dead at keyboard) and no one realized it, or found them.

Here is my theory on why the electricity was never turned off.

He was 70, he was retired, he lived in a nice looking house. He lived on a fixed income, and they just direct deposited his pay every month, and his bills took them directly out every month.

It could happen.
