The official who's playing Vanguard where and when thread

Post by Lyion »

Ok, Since I have upgraded my pooter, I wanted to give Vanguard a shot this weekend. I have BB gift card I'm going to use on this bad boy.

Post here if you're playing. Please include server, character name, times you play, and any tips.

Raynock - 8 bard on Hilsbury

I may re-roll soon though on a different continent (but most likely stay on Hilsbury)

I played with Toss until I quit due to shitty, choppy gameplay. I'll reup it when I find someone to upgrade my computer to make it playable.
I would be playing close to daily after 9central till whenever I logged off.

Yeah, I plan on firing up Vanguard when my 8800 GTX arrives and playing around some this weekend.

I'd like to find a fairly busy server with a group that plays a few nights a week. Seems the few who are playing are spread out, though.

If anyone's considering starting this weekend, drop me a PM.

I doubt anyone here remembers me, but i still read the boards once in a while. I am playin on Thunderaxe, or at least trying to. I have some new computer parts on the way and then i will be able to actually play without freezing up a lot. So far i have a lvl 5 Necro(Jungilizt), i also want to try out the faction PVP server.

My opinion is you need a pretty steady group to do Vanguard. I currently.. do not have one, and I'm not sure I'll catch up to Toss' mid 20s group with my part time playstyle, so I'd like to get 3-4 people and setup a weekly grouping session...

My duo team could definitely use another. We're both level 10 (ranger / necro) on Hilsbury. We have scheduled to do some more quests around Dark Horse Downs in Qalia for wednesday night.

Come on over to Targonor! You can make lvl 10 back in one night. We've got a small established guild and are committed to two nights a week, Wed and Sun. We have been having a blast doing dungeon crawls. I am really impressed with all of the late teens, early 20's dungeons we have checked out.

Post by jungilizt »

are together actively grouping etc, i am all about it. I would be more than willing to hop over to Targonor. I have some computer parts on the way soon so i will hopefully be able to play the game without all the hickups and freezing that i suffer from at present.

Will be goin from a Geforce 6800GT AGP to a 7900GS PCI-E, from a stoneage Athlon 2400+ to a 64X2 4200+, new motherboard is an ASUS M2N-E NF570ULTRA AM2, and from 2gigs of DDR clockin at 333(cause of the processor) to 2gigs of Corsair DDR800. My hard drive is fairly new, Seagate Barracuda 250 Gig SATA.

Hoping this will help me out, lookin forward to playin this game, as i made it to lvl 5 i loved it, but it just got to be toooooooo much with my crappy computer.
