Invites havn't gone out have they?

I talked to someone yesterday who alpha tested and they said the video lag was so bad you can barely turn around. He claims to have a pretty decent machine too.

if by 'always' you mean in the last few years, then yes. look at EQ's water, it was ground that you could fall through with a couple of frames that made it look like it moved.

Until bump mapping, pixel shaders, etc came about, water was just a couple of textures that switched back and forth on a polygon.

physical graphics might be better but i guarantee WoW will feel more real than EQ2. the EQ team seem to have a flaw at making things realistically animated (see new character models)

The first invites are supposed to go to Legends subscribers, then people who bought LoE, and then to the public who applied through the website. Anyone not in those first two groups will probably have to wait a few weeks after beta starts to get their invites.

So anyone know someone on Legends doing EQ2 beta?

sweet jesus those were terrible

i've seen more lifelike animation in SNES games

i had them on exactly one day then went back to my beloved old-school iksar model

Only "new" model I like from EQlive would be the Troll...

Possibly Ogre...All others are pretty fugly and breastplates dont look right on them.
