I still have yet to try any Guitar Hero game. I wonder if it's worth buying for the Wii? You'd think someone who is big on DDR and actually plays guitar would have tried it by now, but meh.

I got it for the Wii. It's the first GH game I have ever owned. I'm still working my way through easy mode. It's pretty easy, but I switched to medium and realized something about myself very quickly...my pinky finger doesnt work. It's tough to hit that blue fret, it's probably REALLY tough to hit the orange one. So I'm going to work my way through all of easy mode before moving to medium.

I'm not in any rush /shrug

P.S. Has anyone noticed that it really fucks with your eyes. Like I'll play three songs and look up at something else in the room and it's stretching and distorting. It's like you're on acid. After a five minute break my eyes re-adjust.

My GF complains about that. I never notice it... I assumed it was because we play it on the big screen. I guess it's the fast motion and distracting color.

PS sounds like an acid flashback.

Yeah, I play on a 46 lcd and I stand probably 5 feet from it, maybe I should move back a few steps.

I have a pretty sensitive equilibrium. I get motion sick in elevators.

it's the only way to unlock certain stuff anyway

When I first started I didn't know there WAS an "easy".

I started on medium.

Knowing there is a Dragonforce now, I am complete. Those guys are fucking amazing.

If you buy the ps2 version from target it comes with 2 guitars fyi.

Just beat the game on expert. Beatifully done. Also, you can buy the Velvet Revolver add ons at the ps3 store.

Oh, Tom Morello boss battle on expert ftw.

Just like anything else involving dexterity, it takes practice.

There are also those people with all the practice in the world that will never get any good at it.

I can clear every song on expert, no problem. Clearing a song by no means even sounds good lol

Now...5 starring them? Fuck no, maybe a handful with some practice. More because I like playing the song, than by any "competitive" measure.

Like in GH2, The Light That Blinds by Shadows Fall, I played that and Six by All That Remains a LOT. I think those are the only "difficult" two out of the expert's that I could 5 star.

I'm having trouble finding a track list for this game. Does it have Linkin Park?

Ever, have you tried this? Is it a game for geezers like us at all? This is on my kid's list, but I tend to prefer to get games that we can play together.
