I tried this game. this time I played a druid to 20.

This game is beautiful. But it lacks content. And the fact that EVERY mob is leashed...

Anyway, I am sorry guys. It sucks AGAIN. That is TWO TIMES I tried this game. So don't lecture me about how awesome it is!

every mob is not leashed. you should try playing to 60 at least before making a judgement really. 20 and down is a total joke....

20 and below....I dont think anything is leashed. I think you just pulled mobs too close together. Same would happen in any game with social mobs.

the game doesn't really start until lvl 30

that's when the really fun instances start

unfortunately, the really fun instances also end at about lvl 55

PvP 5v5 & 2v2 Arena is the reason to play wow.

Wow is the first mmo I know of that allows non raiding characters to have better gear than raiding characters. PvP arena gear has resilience = less crits on you = win pvp. True PvE content has better stats, but without resilience you get owned.

Don't get me wrong. I've said from the start that world pvp > instanced pvp. But to say the least arena is way better than that battlegrounds garbage they started with.

Arena's are great, if you are twitchy and have a Druid, Warrior, or Rogue.

WOW PVP is watered down. It's just counterstrike EQ style. I enjoy TF2 much more than BGs or Arenas.

DAOC was infinitely better. I'm hoping Warhammer captures some of DAOCs PVP goodness, but gets none of it's PVE assness.

i will say, i am no mmog uber-guy, and i got to 22 in no time hardly playing.....
not a good measure of the whole game.

and the whole leashed thing did suck, but i got some mad pulling skills because of it though

Try wowscape if you don't have the patience to level all the way up. You can get to 70 in a matter of hours if you know where to go, and you can see all the endgame crap and get the top loots in a day or two after that. Pretty much all the content is the same as live, except fights aren't scripted. That makes Illidan a boring EQ style 20 minute hackfest while half afk, but oh well.

http://www.wowscape.net/ -- really easy to set up, just change realmlist.wtf and make an account through the wowscape page. If you have hard drive space to spare, just make a copy of the wow directory and then change the realmlist in the copy and make a shortcut for wow.exe and play Wowscape via that, and live via the original install.

There's occasional crashes, but things usually get back up and running right away. The only thing that really sucks about wowscape is the high amount of ganking. Apparently lots of 70's have nothing better to do than kill people trying to level.
