The Future of our Country
I just went to the gas station to buy smokes. My cup holder in my car was spilling over with change so I decided to count out $5.50 in quarters. I go to the counter, ask for Marb lights. The 16-18 year old behind the counter gives them to me and I put the change on the counter in six neatly stacked piles. The kid behind the counter says, "what is this". I say, "$5.50" he says, "how do I know that", I look at him confused. He says, "I can't except this". By this time the cigs were already in my pocket so I said, "yes you can" turned around and walked out. He yells, "I'm gonna call the cops" and as I get into my car I see him through the window run around the counter (passed the line that had formed behind me during our 20 second altercation) with a pen and pad and write down my license plate number as I drove away...
I can't wait for the next time I have to buy $60 worth of gas at that gas station.

I probably would have sat there insulting his intelligence, or lack thereof. I have no patience for stupidity.
How do you like this spoiler, motherfucker? -Lyion

A combination of quality parenting + government run schools = success! /sarcasm off
Re: The Future of our Country
Jesus, I was just outside fixing my gutter (that blew off during heavy winds on Wednesday) and I watched as a group of kids dared each other to run through my electric fence, which we just installed for my dog...
The brave kid of the bunch ran through the flags, turned to his friends and said, "nothing happened, it must be broken". I didn't bother telling them they had to wear the collar for it to work, they'd probably run home and tell their parents some weirdo down the street wanted to put a collar on them.
/sigh

That's just sad, plain and simple. To think you can get hired as a cashier and can't count change, then go overboard with it. Perhaps this boy was part of some affirmative action hiring?....
That last scenario had me cracking up, lol. Too funny.

because minorities are dumber? WOW
compost the rich
Re: The Future of our Country
Just to clarify, I should have put "affirmative action for dumb people". I didn't mean to infer that minorities in general are less intelligent...which apparently it did. This concludes my stupid moment for today.

Yes
Re: The Future of our Country
What's a minority? If I visit my friends in Costa Rica do I become a minority?
