OK, so where can I download music for my IPod with unlimited downloads? Pay site naturally, not a free spyware site. Does such a place exist?

I use albumhunt.com when I can't find what I need via other sources.

No spyware or any other malicious problems that I've encountered.

I would prefer a pay for monthly unlimited downloads, I looked into Rhapsody, but apparently the music is not compatible with an IPod.

with that sort of service, though, isn't it like once you stop paying the monthly fee you lose the rights to have the song? it's like renting the music, no..?

Ive actually heard good stuff about that soulseek site Gyp mentioned. Never tried it, but Ive heard people talk about it. I just use iTunes /shrug, I just dont download as much music as I used to when I too much free time on my hands, so I just pop into that and spend a few dollars when I want something. Everyone now is all grrr im not payin for my music! But I dont buy CDs anymore, and i just dont care enough about that cause to worry about it, so i just pay for it and move on

why? i've never enjoyed a media player as much as itunes. and i've tried a lot. nothing even compares to itunes' organization capabilities from what i've found. and nothing is as universal because literally almost every person i know has itunes installed on their computer for iPod docking and such. i don't think you could pay me to stop using itunes. i've tried a few times and i always come back

the only thing i don't like is lacking support for .flac. and that doesn't matter to me at all because i have a huge sound system and an x-fi crystallizer soundcard. i cannot tell the difference between a 192kbps .mp3 and a .flac anymore except my brain telling me .flac is "lossless"

im not an ipod fan either. definitly prefer my archos multimedia player with its usb storage device drag and drop functionality and it is compatible with windows media player and winamp if you prefer a song manager

ipods and itunes aren't a trend, fortunately. they're here to stay. and i will keep enjoying the fact that organizing my music library is as easy as it possibly could be. winamp and WMP and foobar and shit like that have always disappointed me when i try to switch over and start managing my tremendous amount of mp3s
