Am I the only person that thought "douchebag" when that kid started talking?

Someone needs to start kicking the shit out of that kid every day until he learns the error of his ways.

Good for him IMO. I think it's great that someone at a young age is able to write and articulate so well. I don't agree with him but that is what makes this country so great.

That said, I bet both his parents are ultra conservative bible humpers :P so what he doesn't realize at his young age is that his parents have warped him into what they want for him. He believes he has formed his own opinion but I really doubt that to be true. I'd like to see him again at 20 and see if he is still of the same mind. He hasn't gone through the life changing teens.

Most super intelligent kids don't get friends until their late teens.

This kid, and most politicians for that matter, would be much cooler if he could check his faith at the door when talking politics.

The four principles are okay, though if respect for life means anti-abortion, I'm not on board there. Respect for the Constitution is something that everyone should be able to agree on, same with personal responsibility. I'm definitely in favor of less government, though I know not everyone is.

If he looks up to Barry Goldwater, he's probably no Bush supporter, so don't be too quick to judge.
