Acer owns Gateway since 2007. LG doesn't own Acer.

I have an Acer. The only complaint I have is the keyboard seems to lag when typing really quickly.

Look for a MacBook and bootcamp XP onto it. Fastest windows laptop I've ever had.

lag isn't quite right

it's almost like if the key presses are too close together it just doesn't register some of them



that being said, it's a decent box for what you paid


another name to look for good price but good performance are the ASUS laptops
