Life

Post by Harrison »

It seems the grand creator isn't quite done with me, yet.

My girlfriend is in the hospital. Early membrane rupture. We're at the point where if our son is born it will very likely be a successful birth and no complications, but there is also the possibility that everything will go wrong.

It's been one week of me going from hospital, to work, back to hospital, to work, etc.

I don't know if I can keep this up for another 4.5 weeks. (maximum amount of time they will keep him in)

Don't blame the creator, Harri, he doesn't exist. I'm sorry for all your troubles. Some of us have it harder then others, that's for sure.

On a side note, please do not name your son Jayden, Grayden, Hayden, or Mayden.

We are ADAMANTLY against those fucking names.

We're down to Noah, or Alexander.

Noah Jack Harrison
or
Alexander Jack Harrison

Alexander was my choice.
Noah is hers.

Both excellent names.

I like Alexander but Alexandre (french spelling) is like the most common boys name from my generation (in french), so I know about 20 of them. I could never name my kid that for that reason. I have a third on the way who's a boy so I'm in the middle of trying to figure out what name to give him. Not an easy task.

On top of all of this my job is trying to fuck me.

One of the nights I called out they are claiming I never did. (Have proof I did in my phone, but no proof of WHO I spoke to.)

They're trying to nail me with a no-call no-show. I showed Human Resources the call log in my phone but she said she spoke to every manager in the building and they all said they never spoke to me.

I am furious.

Like I don't fucking have enough to deal with I have either the ineptitude(forgetfulness) of management or possibly even the downright lies of them now.

4.5 weeks is fine bud, my daughter was 5 weeks early @ 4.5#'s and lost another pound after the birth (they all do apparently) and after 6 months has been in the 90th percentile in height and weight since. It's definitely nerve wracking though, good luck with everything.

So far everything is great and he is a fighter like his father and won't let anything take him down.

I just want to take him home and for all of this to end.
