It seems more comfortable to hold for longer periods of time than the PSP but I still can't get in to gaming on such a small screen. I don't own a Vita and have only played with it at the store.

My brother has one. Seems cool, but just not gaming on the go these days.

Get Uncharted Golden Abyss and tell me what you think. I've been thinking about getting it just for that game.

I think my Ipad third gen will be the last portable device I ever buy. Does all my PC stuff. The voice recognition works very well. It has plenty of games when I have the urge, and I spend more time in ibooks than playing games

I run a Calibre server with a ton of books and downloaded mags, and Airvideo with my entire media library to stream. My kids have 3DS', but really I have no desire to ever do anything on a tiny screen like that.

The one problem is, games on iPad are crap. It's like free windows games level of garbage. The best are ports of 20 year old Nintendo games. It's regressing the quality of real games because millions of people find themselves content with garbage like plants vs zombies.

Most games on the ipad are crap, but it really has nice capabilities and quite a few very good games. I'd guess you haven't checked out any retina display games.

Wizardry I believe has a new release on the fagOS.

If not it's out on the PS3 and it is Hardcore as fuck like the old games were. I played the demo and loved it.

Most of my books were nabbed on Demonoid which has bit the dust again. Superseeds which Jay pointed out has a few. If there's anything in particular you want, let me know.

I have around 15,000 books on my Calibre server running on my Linux box. It's also my home fileshare and web server. I read a lot of Sci Fi, Fantasy, but also a lot of dramas, Patterson, and mystery type books. I have a ton of romance for girl. I also download several Mags, more for girl then me as she loves Readers Digest and reads some home type stuff.

It takes 10 seconds to import books into Calibre. Then when I want to read, I open Safari, type in a name, click on it, and it opens in iBooks. I have an old nook too, but I have to actually plug it into a PC to upload books to it. The iPad has made me lazy.
