Ya'll ever watch 30 for 30s? I just watched a great one called Broke about how theres a huge percentage of players in the MLB, NFL, and NBA that are so fucking stupid they think they have unlimited money. Kind of funny

I didn't watch that one but I do think the number is something like 79% of all pro athletes are in "financial trouble" within 2 years after retiring from their sport.

The only one of these I watched was The U, and it was kind of meh. Good story and background of JJ and their glory days, though.

It's amazing that guys who get such a staggering sum of money can be destitute before they are 40, but it's not surprising.

No kidding. I could probably retire for life (i'm 36 now) on 2 mil knowing how to invest and budget.

If you gave me 30 mil when I was 18-22 though I'd probably piss it all away too.
