It's rechargable, but it now costs an ungodly amount of plat to do so. It use to be fairly cheap.

People used it to rez a mage, necro or cleric deep in a zone since it's clickable by any class. Sometimes it was a FD monk using it on a cleric so an entire raid didn't need to be summoned to the IZ in order to continue a raid. Or it was used by a rogue/monk to rez a mage/necro so they could CoH/summon people/corpses deep into a dungeon, thus bypassing a lot of boring/trivial content.

In most instances, it's a pretty useless item considering just how fast it is to level up a mage or a necro to be strategically camped.

Then there's always 'ghosting' your way safely to just about any place in a dungeon that's not locked.

With rogue SoS, you can rez a cleric, necro, mage (or whatever) and quickly move your raid to a "safe spot" deeper in a dungeon. Good example is to bypass the front of VT by clicky-sticking a mage at blob1.

But, yeah, it's easy to get a character to level now... the only catch is getting them keyed/flagged.

I'm sure Karmie is aware of ALL of this though and has his reasons for wanting the stick regardless...

It is NOT rechargable. The method used to recharge it (and most other charged items) was made non-functional a few months back.

Fink, do they also give free investment advice on Stormhammer? Or would that be antithetical to charging 50 bucks a month.

Personally, I would transfer in a heartbeat if they gave out advice on lipstick color.

Those haven't dropped in like forever. I think they stopped dropping before Luclin came out.
